My darling son is already FOUR! Where in the world does time go?!?!? Things are going well, and Jordan absolutely adored being a ringbearer in our wedding earlier this month. Everyone swooned at how precious he looked in his tuxedo that nearly swallowed him! ;-) Hopefully I'll have some pictures to post soon...

Potty training is quite the adventure! Jordan is actually doing well with it these days... sleeping through the night with no accidents even! (Hopefully he won't be the bed-wetter that Mommy was well into her childhood -- ha ha!)
I'm horrible at these updates... and pictures, pictures, pictures! He still has such a darling face, but is turning into quite the little man these days. They grow up so amazingly quickly.Comments:Add a comment:

Jordan, you make my heart so heavy at times... especially when I think about anything ever happening to you. I love you so dearly!
The holidays have us in a frenzy, and I've fallen behind on updating Jor's website... Hopefully things will calm down soon, and hopefully we'll work out the kinks in our new computer system -- so I can transfer pictures and post them VERY VERY SOON! :-)
More to follow!

... Already, he's 3! Where has the time gone?
Where has my tiny newborn gone?
He's still as soft and cuddly as ever, but so articulate and active these days... Wow, it's amazing how quickly they grow up! I miss my tiny baby, but at the same time, I love being able to communicate with my now little boy.
We're planning on a birthday celebration with family and close friends very soon. :-) I know he'll enjoy that immensely!Comments:Add a comment:

Jordan loves to play the name game now, and he can name all of his close relatives by their first names. He also does not want to be called "baby" under any circumstances! If we slip up and say something like, "Hey baby, come here a second," we're in huge trouble!!! He instantly states "I'm NOT a BABY!" Then, we ask who he is, and he proudly states his full name --minus his first name of Patrick, as it is still too confusing for his name to be the same as "Daddy Patrick!"
His attitude is getting larger, but he's still such a cuddly darling! :-D Mommy is mostly definitely smitten! ;-)Comments:Add a comment:

Jordan is growing up so fast. It's amazing to us that he'll be turning three years in two months (as of yesterday, actually). He is so intelligent, cute as a button (even if I am biased, it's TRUE!), and has the most incredible personality.
We had the cutest conversation yesterday, and it went something like this:
Momma: "I LOVE you!"
Jordan: "You love me?"
Momma: "Yes, of course I love you!!"
Jordan: "I'm pretty??"
Momma: "You're BEAUTIFUL!"
Jordan: "No! I JORDAN!!!"
;-)
While he hasn't learned the difference between a girl being called "pretty" and a boy being called "handsome," he seems to think "beautiful" is a proper name. Isn't that too cute??!
I gloat on him so much sometimes, but I just can't help it... I'm in love with the little stinker, and everyone he's around on a daily basis is as well!! :-)

Jordan's new favorite activity is giving away Eskimo Kisses... Too precious! When he receives them, he giggles loudly and excitedly. Momma can't help but laugh back, because he's such a little lover boy sometimes! :-)
Watch out girls! He's gonna steal your hearts someday... sooner than I can imagine right now! ;-)Comments:Add a comment:

Jordan started "mini camp" today at his school. There aren't any formal, structured classes during the next few months, though they'll still do all sorts of fun things like finger painting and such. They have special water days planned, when we need to send him in clothing that can get wet. I think he'll have a lot of fun over the next several weeks. Hopefully no more warm weather colds will sneak up on us! I've certainly got my fingers crossed! :-)

We had a non-traditional Easter Sunday(but who is to say we're traditional anyway??!). The three of us went to the beach and flew Jordan's new kite(a gift from Grandpa!), and it was the perfect weather and temperature for it. Jordan enjoyed himself immensely, and he is going to absolutely be a little beach bum come summertime! I can't wait...
This weekend, we're relaxing. Jordan has yet another cold(I despise this whole daycare thing...grumble!), so we're taking things easy. His daycare director, teachers, and aides keep commenting on how they "never know he's sick" because he continues to be active and social even when he is feeling badly, unlike the other children. Who says my child is tradional either? We think he's one of the biggest troopers around!
Time to go cuddle up with my little darling. I'll post some more pictures(and those from the beach last weekend) shortly.Comments:Add a comment:
